Its time to return to some of the myths associated with Dry Suits and give a great understanding of what they are.

  • Dry suits keep you warm - WRONG!
    The dry suit itself does not really keep you warm, heat is gained by what you wear under your drysuit. Usually people wear clothes for polar or other keep warm.
  • A dry suit can cause you to have an uncontrolled ascent - MOBY
    It is technically possible but unlikely with adequate training on the proper use of a wetsuit should not happen.
  • A dry suit will make you dive 'feet' - FALSE

  • If my dry suit gets a hole and flooding, I will be pulled to the bottom - FALSE
