Planning a vacation in Key West can sometimes be a daunting task because there are so many things to do in Key West. The Welcome Center in Key West can be the focal point for planning your holiday, because they are in the service of assisting visitors with their vacation planning.

- Hotels, Motels, BED & BREAKFAST, Vacation Rentals
Key West is a small island that is 1.5 to 4 miles total size of only 4,000 hotel, motel, bed & breakfast and rooms condominium on the island. During special events and holiday weekends, there is usually a minimum of 3-nite stay at the bed & breakfast, and some of the 4-star resorts on the island and townhouses.
If you come in one night during the week, then you probably will not have Advance reservations for a hotel or motel. Sometimes we can not get into a good bed and breakfast for one night due to last minute cancellations. But if you plan to stay for a couple of nights or more, advanced reservations are definitely in order.
Working as a janitor in a number of years, you see only when and where the rooms are available for overnight rental. If you are looking for private homes for your vacation, then wait for the places that are only available for a minimum a week. Some places are only available on a monthly basis.
On another note, if you're like me and have been companions of the animals, which are a part of his family and not like the idea of leaving home when you are out having fun. Most accommodations, including vacation rentals are not pets. Those who are more pet friendly rooms are bed & breakfast. There are three basic types of fishing:
1. Off-Shore
2. Back Country Light Tackle
3. Flats
Land OFF - Off shore fishing is where you go to big things like Grouper, Sailfish, Marlin, Mahi-Mahi, Mackerel, etc. The boats are usually a six pack (up to six passengers) and take turns in the hot seat. The method of hooking the fish is by trolling. You can book the seat (1 / 2 day $ 135, Full day $ 185) or private letters (1 / 2 day from $ 600; full day from $ 800).
FACING THE LIGHT BACK COUNTRY - This type of fishing with a spinning rod in vessels that are never more than 28 feet with a maximum capacity of 4 passengers. This casting is often seen and can use lures or live bait. About the Author
Born and raised in New York City, and with a passion for photography, apprenticed with a master photographer in Manhattan during his junior and senior year in high school. In November of 1967, he joined the Navy to be a photographer and served with the Navy Combat Camera Group based out of San Diego for two years. He continued his military service and in 1983, while stationed in the Washington, DC area became Navy Photographer of the Year for his production of a multimedia show about the Navy Recruiting Command.
In 1984, he was discharged with a medical disability for his back and stayed in the DC area until 1987 when he and his wife (who was military) got transferred to NATO Headquarters in Brussels, Belgium where they stayed for a little over 3 years. Robert worked as one of two Diplomatic Photographers for the U.S. Embassy in Brussels.
Returning to the states in 1990, he started his own photography business as well as working as a computer technician for the hospitality industry in Key West. Here is where he learned who in Key West owned what as well as who could he rely on for services.
In 2003, Robert started working as a concierge and the following year became the manager of the Key West Welcome Center.
