Is it worth buying second hand diving equipment?
I've been offered a Suunto Mosquito watch, a 1998 syncro pro BCD mares in good condition, mares fins in good condition, reg and mares age, pro dive knife, boots, gloves, weight belt, mask mares diver warning buoy, wetsuit 5mm short Bare in perfect condition, bag naked. all for $ 900, but all purchased in the 90, except for the clock and wetsuits.
That price is really reasonable for what you are receiving and considering that everything is in good condition. Particular that BC is actually one of the best mares that came with then. I still have mine for use as a backup, but if I had to sell it, I would be asking at least $ 200 is worth it. There are nearly 25% of the cost of there. You're getting fair value for their money. No deal great, but less than the items that would normally be used separately. If you need all that and now is to ensure that the rules have been duly served and everything else is good grabs me, if I were you unless you plan on purchasing several sources that can take some time to get what you want at a fair price for you.
