The divers, what is your favorite regulator mouthpiece? Why?
I love my Mares reg, but the spokesman was not the most comfortable and I'm considering getting a different one for her. Any suggestions? Thanks! PS I'm so sad ... Suit season is almost over here in the Middle West, and since I'm not diving dry suit, however, unless I get to go somewhere warm during the winter, diving is not just done for me to spring ... boooooo !!!!! I have a 7mm jumpsuit that so far has been great, and gloves. A hooded jacket or a 1 / 2 mm in the 7mm suit has been recommended to me too. Last weekend I used a long-sleeved T-shirt, which reduced the "audacity" factor a bit ... you know how it is when the new waves the water in your wetsuit! Sooner or later I'll end up in a dry suit, I can not bear the thought of several months without diving!
I use Sea Cure. They are a bit expensive, but actually reduce the fatigue of the jaw. They are a custom fit, but the real customization. Place the mouthpiece in boiling water for one minute, remove leaves cool slightly, put it in your mouth and chew. Hold that position for 10 seconds and that's it. A nozzle that is molded to your teeth and jaw. Very comfortable and next to no effort to keep even if your friend is a kick in the face. I think there are some others on the market now, through different brands. I do not know, I've had mine for 10 years. Yup, last as long. I dive ice occasionally here in one, although I have my dry suit lug around. It just depends on immersion. It is the hand go to sleep after 30 minutes, even with good gloves.
