Why I'm Running
Growing up, my parents taught my five siblings and me the importance of helping others.
It's the reason I chose a career as a legal advocate for the sick and the elderly.
It’s the reason my brother Tom chose a career as an elementary school teacher,
and the reason my sister Kathy chose a career as a registered nurse.
Now I can't just stand by and watch as the Missouri Legislature refuses to restore Medicaid
cuts, continues to under-fund public schools, and does nothing to cap property taxes
for senior citizens. I think what's happening in Jefferson City is shameful. I'm running
for State Representative because I know the people of this district deserve honesty,
common sense, and compassionate representation. I ask for your support of my campaign,
and your vote on November 7th because frankly, we can and we must do better.
