Maya will operate on a key number of beautiful 11.5 acres of private property located just three minutes from the Bay cruise terminal on Roatan, the family home to the fins and flippers program operated by AKR. This key has two secluded beaches, excellent snorkeling a scenic pier, a 70,000 gallon pool, a lounge deck 5,000 square meters and lush garden paths bursting with native flora. Within minutes guests can enjoy the sand and surf of the Caribbean, arriving to the cruise terminal.
Twenty years ago pioneered AKR Hondurasa € ™ only research and program of dolphins for Education, Institute of Marine Sciences on Roatan (RIMS). The Institute is a unique research center and educational program with dolphins in Honduras alone. As one of the complex Roatanâ € ™ s first dive in recent years Anthony € ™ s has expanded to include the edges, the Roatan Museum, a fully equipped medical center, the activities of the dolphins and now Maya Key.
Anthony € ™ s Key Resort is a five star PADI Instructor Development Center, which offers a complete range of courses and certifications for all levels, including Open-water certification, Rescue Diver and Divemaster Adventure Diver.
